Description
Once in April's bitter heart
Death's white cloak gleamed frostily
He slipped out into the dark
Onto a glassy, moonless sea.

He saw her lights were all aglow-
The ship whose breath he longed to still
He wounded her, she listed low
Into the infinite she fell.

Far below the speaking surf
She who death has wholly crushed
Rests in a deep and lonely berth
Weeping endless tears of rust.

Very beautiful! You might want to send it Robert Ballard, the man who found her. I did that with one of mine and got his autograph! It was so exciting, and I bet he'd love this too if he could see it.

Thank you so much!

I might actually do that because it was something he wrote that inspired the poem. He mentioned that the rusticles made it look like the Titanic was "weeping over her fate." It's a poetic but melancholy thought....
