Yea I think that this pose + the sword look sort of strange, without the sword it looks ok, just like another pose, but the combination of both is unusual indeed.

You're both very skilled artists. Your paintings are really fantastic. I really love the way you painted the fire. The sword coupled with her hair reminds me of Nariko from Heavenly Sword. However, I'm really surprised to see other comments here offering observations and constructive criticism have all been flagged as spam. I can see that you didn't ask for critiques on this piece, but as an artist of your caliber, I would expect that you've received and accepted critique in the past. I understand this is a collaboration. Is it that people are critiquing you on something the other artist did? It's hard to say who did what in this piece.
If you don't mind, which I imagine you do, but I'm going to say it anyway, I'd like to leave a bit of constructive criticism myself, as a casual observer. This would be for both or either of you, as I imagine the other artist is reading these comments as well. I think the reason a lot of people think it looks like she's "peeing" is because of the pose you borrowed from the reference. In the original, the girl is sitting, with her pelvis kinda jutting forward, with her toes pointed. You drew her in the same pose, but standing, and drew her feet flat instead. Up close, you can see that she's in a slight squatting position, holding her sword in front of her. But from far away... Let's just say that this is very similar to the position a woman is in while inserting a tampon. Sorry to be blunt, but there's really no better way for me to describe it. Perhaps if her pelvis was moved to a more centered, relaxed position, this problem would be solved. The other distracting thing about this piece is her legs. Her muscles are flexed like she's pointing her toes, but then you look at her feet, and they're flat. It makes her legs from the knee down look abnormally long, not to mention how strained she looks from apparently having all her weight sort of leaning forward while her feet are somehow pointed and flexed at the same time. Perhaps someone has already pointed these things out, but take from this what you will.

I'm not gonna tolerate comments like she's peeing/crapping fire
or that the sword is coming out from her vagina...that's just rude!
I get to see bad,bad works everyday and i never offended anyone or
using this kind of trivial language about their works!
This is a picture,we can not move around her pelvis or change her
position too much..it's not a painting,we're limited by stock!
As for the tampon position,you got me...i'm a dude so i'm clueless!

It's quite alright. I see that it's the language that is offensive to you. Why not simply mention in your description that you know many people have said these things, and further comments are unnecessary? It wouldn't deter all offensive comments, considering the average IQ of people browsing dA, but it would likely help.

Please do this. Go to the mirror, a big mirror, flex your legs, follow your legs muscle and see what you get. I am also a tae bo teacher so you really cant mess with me at anatomy. When you point your feet like in the original photo, you leg muscle is more visible. Secondly how could she close her legs with the big sword in fire between them and the last, no offense but is this your way to insert tampon? Im just asking because you seem so sure about it

If you are not a good constructor you cant know that maybe that house would fall on you in the next earthquake, you need studies to see if its build well or wrong and an incredible good taste and also studies to know if it is a nice design.
