So... I was actually trying to draw Meta Ridley. I wound up with Proteus Ridley instead. Why? Simple. There was a slightly better bit of reference art for this version of Ridley than for Meta Ridley. He also showed up when I looked up "Meta Ridley", so it took me a good hour before I realized, "Wait, this isn't Meta Ridley". Oh well, at least the image turned out alright.Shown above, Proteus Ridley's descent onto SR388.
And besides, what's there not to love about the Ninja Pirate Zombie Robot Dragon?
See, the problem with literally every image of Proteus Ridley in existence is that there's no clear view of Ridley's central torso (from his wings to his stomach). There are also no angles of his back. Everything in that area was me guesstimating.
Also, fuck his tail, that was so hard to draw.
Ridley, and by extension Metriod, belongs to Nintendo
