Konichiwa minna-san and welcome. Ore wa KKD Silver/TKNRKRGaim, and today, I'm announcing the first of my four art challenges for this year, Magical March of 2024. Is four a lot of art challenges? Yes. Yes it is. Do I drive myself crazy sometimes with all the extra work? Also yes. But am I gonna let that stop me? Heck no. More on the next month when we get there, but first, a bit on Magical March itself.

This is a series of art prompts to attempt to draw stuff up for the month of March, designing character designs for Magical Girls or based off Magical Girls. This would include properties like Madoka Magica, Cardcaptor Sakura, Phantom Thief Jeanne, PreCure, Ribon no Kishi, and of course, Sailor Moon. Simple enough, though I gave a general theme for each week of March, with the exception of the last and first days of the month and the Saturdays which, like Amalgam April, will be dedicated to new Fakemon designs which are all dual Fairy types and that, slight spoiler, will be considered DLC legends/mythicals when it's time for that story to come up, but we'll cross that later. And as an added challenge to myself, I'll also need to create little story bits for the descriptions for you guys to follow along with. But this time, I'm creating a brand new character to explain the histories for these characters while also having me go over design notes, but still.

Granted, this challenge is mostly just my excuse to have fun, but I would like to encourage you guys to give it a try and expand your own creativity for the art challenge. Feel free to take your own spins on any of these prompts at your own pace, do your research for it, and go wild with your own designs. I would love to see what you guys come up with using the hashtag #MagicalMarch , and be sure to tag me so I can see what you guys came up with. Though for you guys, you may notice the various Pokemon entires.

The Pokemon entries are more often considered free days for you guys, letting you do whatever you want on those days regardless of what it says, meaning you can do the prompt that day (like making a Sailor Moon-based Normal/Fairy Fakemon), but those are primarily for me. Those days, I'll be specifically adding to the Vasta Region dex with new Fakemon based on those prompts, so I hope you guys are looking forward to this.
