I'm still really happy with how these came out. This was an attempt to modernize the Planet Ford and Prestige/Park Place logos (the laters I originally designed many years ago). I don't know if you remember the old Planet Ford logos, but they were pretty rough and very hard to work with. It was my idea to turn the logo into a 'sunrise' over the edge of a planet vs having an entire globe behind the text. Also, on Prestige - I never was happy with the ugly metal wings I had done and wanted to simplify them to basic floating shapes. This one they didn't end up going with - even though I'd barely classify it a 'redesign'. Of course, the dealerships internal 'designer' wanted to tweak them - you can look online to see how well that went. Anyway, in a parallel universe, the Randall Reed brand is elevated and super classy.
