Incidentally, a little history lesson here; During the war of American Independence, from 1775-1783, General George Washington had a headquarters in Newburgh and had spies on the other side of the Hudson, who would use signal flares when the British were seen sailing up the Hudson. One of the things I really like about where I live is that it so rich in history.
