Description
This is taken from an "Ektachrome" image of me on the beach when I was somewhere between the ages of eight and ten. Ektachrome was a Kodak film type that could be used for transparency images in the 60s and 70s. My parents had some of these made of images of their kids. They were viewed through a plastic viewer which would be held up to light, somewhat like the old "Viewmaster" toys, and could sometimes be used to show 3D images. I basically held this image up and photographed it against a while background and then adjusted it for clarity. I post it here as an example of a once popular fad in amateur photography.[link]
