Thurston Moore, from the band Sonic Youth, recently played a show in our town at a small venue. I got to meet him afterward and he was a nice guy. It was a thrill to meet him, as I've been a fan of his for a very long time and had seen Sonic Youth play a few times. His solo stuff is very different and is much more free form.
