Hey Guys!Available as various products on Society6 and Redbubble
This is a head canon of mine. It's mostly because they're both green, have names that start with a 'B' and are heavy duty, but I believe they are long lost brothers who don't know that the other is on Earth.

if they're not brothers, they at least knew each other before the war, Bulkhead did say he was in construction before the war and wouldn't surprise me if Boulder was one also before he became a Rescue Bot

AHHH, my sister thinks the same thing! Bulkhead went on to become a warrior and Boulder goes into public works. Each helping Cybertron in their own way!

Yes! So much Yes! My head canon actually continues to say that Boulder wanted to be a wrecker like his big brother but couldn't get in and instead went with the Rescue Bots. But Bulkhead is still very proud of Boulder and always tells people about his Rescue Bot brother. The only reason we don't hear him telling team Prime about Boulder is because Bulk's been apart of the team for a while and they've heard the stories about Boulder 10x over.

My sister's thoughts were that Boulder is far too gentle and even innocent to be a Wrecker. They're a brutal bunch, remember and Bulkhead, I could see, would not want his younger brother a part of such a group. He'd be too easy a target. Bulk was always the tougher, more resilient of the two and knew being a warrior wasn't a good fit for Boulder. The public works sector was a far better fit for him. Plus, Boulder strikes me as just a little smarter than his big bro.
Yeah, Bulk would be proud of his little brother, but I doubt he would know where he is. Likely he was there when the ship with Boulder and his team was launched off Cybertron. Our thinking was that, early in the war, Megatron began targeting the Rescue teams as a means to demoralize the population and reduce the chances of aid to disaster zones after a battle. So the Autobot High Command decided to sent the teams off-world for safety's sake. Given the reactions of the Rescue team, it was very likely early on in the war.
Rescue Team Sigma-7 is probably the only rescue team left.
