And my panels are like mostly close-up pics which I find a lot faster to draw and the first chapter is basically what's going on in Leo's mind.... so if I have background it would be like total darkness except for a circle of light( and that pretty much just make anyone conclude that my chapter 1 is probably boring but it's fun to draw comics for the first time cuz I have a lot to learn)
P.S. My black coloring marker went out of ink halfway through a panel r.i.p.

Okay, so you're keeping it simple. That's smart. I once decided on a certain pose 'cause I thought it would look good, but then I spent like days trying to get it right, and that one pose is actually part of the reason I went on hiatus for so long. -_- It did turn out nice in the end though.

I thought I would rather finish the basic outline first before doing all the shading and coloring so I don't have to switch back and forth for materials cuz I'm doing it on paper

Ah, yes. Good plan. Switching back and forth from inks to colour is easier on a computer. Although I do switch programs. I sketch in Photoshop, ink in Sai, and then return to photoshop to add the colour and shading and anything else.

Yeah, definitely. I remember the days when I did all my stuff traditionally. I still got all my pens and stuff because sometimes my laptop isn't at hand or it's in the repair shop.

Is it a family laptop? I hated when I had to share the family computer. I was always being blamed when there were viruses on it or when something was off about it.
And yeah, going back to school and trying to do other work besides school work sucks. Students here are just getting off for the summer.

We are getting ready for sch here... and I'm using my laptop but my parents don't allow me to do anything until I finish all my work then I can use the laptop to do digital art. (And I'm getting a drawing tablet in December if I get a decent grade in the second half of the year) yay

yep I need to get my lower subjects up to scratch (IM SO CLOSE TO GPA 3.6 if its not that random subject that I got 1 mark from 2.8 and another 2 that's 1 mark from 4.0 ARG)

And I agree. Chemistry is fun. One science class, the science teacher next door floated a balloon just inside our room (at the back) then blew it up with science. He had a lighter taped to the end of a meter stick and held it to the balloon until it burst. It made the biggest bang and scared 90% of the class, including our teacher. XD

Yeah, chemistry is so fun. We burnt magnesium and play around with pH levels. We did chemical reactions but its all really minor reactions magnesium and water and those kind of thing. Theres this random chemical that we create during a science test that smell like ammonia but the pH level is too low and I was like... the gas is smelly but its not ammonia? then someone pop a lighted splint somewhere in the room and just revealed the answer to everyone...its hydrogen??? I never knew hydrogen smell so bad...
Fire under balloon should make the air inside expand and pop the balloon when it cant take the pressure but you NEVER know when that's going to happen...

Rite now I'm just doing basic lining so there's no coloring and stuff and there's only like 4-5 panels per page and sometimes I can just do I page in 2 hour plus if I'm really focused but if not it's like 4 hours a day and sometimes I find time to do tiny comics cuz I'm feeling bored( and I did one last night)

Nope. My sister and I still do that too. I actually have a few seasons on DVD, and every other episode I don't have on DVD, I downloaded from youtube and have it stored on a portable hard drive.
