Oooh! A messenger? I thought she was an underwater super heroine and they were teaming up with her to defeat those Mermech. Star Mermaid is calling on you Perkings Lad!
Are the Mermech related to last week's space cephalopods and their cyclopean mechs? They got the single red eye again! Also anymech is more menacing with lobster claws pinch pinch pinch!

Star-Fish that's kinda cute hehe. Those sinister cyclopean cephalopod have set their sight on our precious world again! Fight Perkins Lad! End the terrifying threat of the tentacular trespasser! We believe in you!
Good luck to those brave heroes

MEANWHILE! AT THE HALL OF PERKINS!

In all truth, there are voice over classes one might take. OR perhaps pursue the writing end of the equation and create the grand verbage that issues forth from the lips of the actors.

I wouldn't mind getting in on the writing part but I'm just so far away from any sort of creative center... plus I kinda lost faith in my ability to create. I dunno... I guess I never really had a real passion for anything, if I had the guts, the drive to go for what I really want, if I knew for sure what I really wanted, I would probably be off somewhere in a center of cartoon creation pitching my demo scripts and trying to get hired... but I'm really just a big ball of doubt so I'm going nowhere.
There's a reason I love characters with a fiery personality and an unbreakeable determination, because I'm lacking that fire myself... or maybe I don't and I just don't know how to tap into it.

Holy Heck! Not the 'Mermechs of the Abyssal Plain'? This is certainly nail biting stuff, mate.

Most frustrating, I can only guess, mate.
Np. Interested to see how varied you make each one. Must be a bit of a brainstorm, or do your boys make helpful suggestions?

Builds character!
Brainstorm indeed! Each day is a challenge to be sure... especially if I am sleep deprived. Makes the thinking tougher. The lads place requests all the time. I always try to accommodate those when they come up.

Do you rough out shapes with pencil first or do you go straight in with the pen?

Sometimes I will use a light pencil to rough out, but just as often I go straight to work with the sharpies without a preliminary rough line on the bag.

They are good lads, they'll be more that focused on the impending threat of the dreaded Mermechs to give that too much thought.

Sweet. My boy would probably do likewise -- he tolerates the girls right now. What a great, and uncomplicated, age they are...

Indeed! Mine are 4 and 8... no time for girls at this point. I am in dread of their teenage years even now.....

cMack454 In reply to tnperkins [2011-09-20 15:08:55 +0000 UTC]
Yup, mine's 4. I'm building up an immunity to teenagedom with my now-16 year old daughter. She's followed by my now-11 year old. Then two more before the boyo hits his teens. By then, I'm hoping to have most of the complexities worked out--I have a whiteboard in my office on which we are drawing the particulars of each age so as to map future expectations with each successive child. By order of magnitude, we should have a salient cross-section of teens well-capitulated and mapped out with the resultant data to be used for the extrapolation of expectation for the boy.
Yeah, it ain't gonna work...
