Dwin was a Le-Matoran merchant lured into a trap by a disguised Klee. Klee drained him of his inner Light and mutated him, giving him claws and wings. In addition, Klee gave Dwin the ability to gills to breathe underwater so he could use him as a scout in his search for more Zyglak to add to his Hatana Legion.
Dwin is timid and obeys Klee out of fear. Although he is evil now, he frequently wanders off, hoping a Toa will find him and save him...somehow.
