The Manticore was designed by the old Brotherhood to serve as an extra body in case of emergencies. Made of Protosteel, it is sturdy enough to contain and channel a Makuta's energies, but does not allow them access to physical Kraata powers like elasticity, chameleon, dodge, or limited invulnerability. With its Nynrah Ghost Blaster, it can take control of other machines or the mechanical components of living creatures. It has keen senses and can fly with the help of its wings. The original model was called Rahkshi Va, but it was eventually renamed Manticore due to its appearance. Without a Makuta possessing it, the Manticore has simple seek-and-destroy programming. It is completely made of Protosteel.
