Description
After moving a few boxes filled with science equipment I found a necklace with a skull and crossbones on the floor, it looked cool so I decided to put it on. Right as I let go of the string I felt very tired, like all if my energy was drained, so I decided to stop for a bit and take a nap, in my room next to the ladder that leads to the attic.
I must of slept for 3 hours because when I awoke the sun was almost blocked by the view of Peach's castle, the sun completely sets at 7:00 PM during the Spring which is the season we are in now, and I went to sleep around 4, school ends around 3, it takes me 5 minutes to get home, 20 mins to do homework, and I was working for 35 minutes until I found the necklace.
By this time, Brian was home from after school help, he usually stays there until 5 PM, cooking dinner , Fried Shroom with a Goomnut marinade with a side of boiled Turtlely Leaf my favorite.
"Hey TL," he said when I got down the stairs, "I see you cleaned some of the attic. I was going to do that but it seems you beat me to the punch."
"Ha," I responded "well you can have it your way on the weekend, BK, and clean out the rest of the attic."
" Ok," he said " I'm almost done here anyway so can you get the table ready. And can you turn on the TV, Legend Crackers have a new episode up."
"I love Legend Crackers," I said as I grabbed a Chuckola Cola from the fridge and made a beeline for the table in front of the TV, "They make science fun, and funny."
"Yes, yes they do." BK said as he brought the plates of food to the table. And we finished the day with a full stomach and something new inside our brains. Little did I know that that would be the last time that happened for a while.
