Description

So I had a dream last night where I was feeling terrible - Self-loathing and all that jazz - and I was sitting on the floor and the longer it went on, the more dark grey and sketchy I looked until this frickin thing just like... separated from me.
She...? It...? Idk. The thing was just towering over me and laughing at me. Apart from being confused by it, I feld just as bad for a while. But then it got easier to ignore them laughing and their words. I guess because I had separated these thoughts from who I actually was?? Idk this was weirdly poetic for a dream.
Then there was this little boy who had a similar thing. His couldn't talk, and was more of an angry beast thing - it looked like a bat/stingray/something-with-lots-of-teeth-and-tiny-eyes hybrid - but it also separated from him when he felt terrible. Looking back, he seemed to have issues with his temper, which actually reminds me of my brother (who I love very much even if it is my job to embarrass him).
And, to cut a prolonged and pointless story short, I used my own shadowy-bad-thoughts-thing to show him that he wasn't alone and he could overcome it.
So there was a happy ending.

These were the actual colours, and it was actually sketchy and smudgey-looking.
She clearly looks like my fursona Elvira, but messier with four arms, claws and a different colour scheme.
I kind of guesstimated the colours. I knew what colours were there, and I knew the shirt was dark grey and the base colour was light grey, but that was all I had to go off.
Anyway, I hope that was somewhat interesting.
A dream with an actual moral I suppose?
I might draw that little boy's monster thing at some point.
