Description Hamu stalked quietly through the thin, dead trees, this journey had been longer than he anticipated but he couldn't leave the kingdom of Moto without paying this last visit. The air seemed crisp and fresher than usual as he settled down on his haunches infront of a gnarled tree, broken and cracked, its bark charred from fire; he didn't know what to say, the words seem to catch in his throat, "Kinai I'm...I'm leaving Moto...there's nothing here for me now...I promised i would never leave you, but I'm so lost...Kinai...I'm so sorry...it should've been me, I know our parents feel the same...Kinai...I need you..." Hamu choked on his words as the tears finally began to fall, splashing silently on the dry cracked earth beneath his paws, wrapped in his grief he hadn't noticed the sudden fog rolling in around the base of the trees. The scent of fresh dirt and mothers milk filled his nostrils as the fog crept up his spine and wrapped delicately around his shaking frame. Hamu hated this place, this was the place his brothers life had ended, he had made numerous journeys to this dark clearing, some visits were calm and tearful but others were full of rage, documented only by the many wounds left in the tree bark. Had he been lost any deeper in thought Hamu would've missed the whisper on the wind, his ears perked as he listened closer, just as the last tear left his eye he thought he heard the words "I am here" in a painfully familiar voice. He couldnt hold back the pain and relief of hearing his twins voice again, and as the moon rose high above the trees, Hamu cried. He hadn't let himself mourn until this very moment, and as his brothers scent filled the air around him and the fog surrounded him closer, he did just that; and like a flash-flood the realization filled his brain...it wasn't his fault....it wasn't...his...fault.
