Beautiful car. It takes 7.2 to hit 60 M.P.H.?

Wow that's horribly slow. A first generation dodge neon R/T will do it in 7.4

Look, ths Jag is ONLY a 4.0 Litres with the V6 engine, the biggest enginge is the V12 5.4 with 287bhp.
My old 1994 Mitsubishi FTO with 2.0 Litres V6 and 197bhp ( wheight ca. 1250 kg ) needs also 7.2 sec up to 60mph, so in this relation the JAG isnΒ΄t a slow car.

Don't get all defensive. I know the one you have is a V6, still doesn't change the fact that it is slow. Look I owe a Neon, and the only thing there is to do around where I live is drag race, so I know what I'm talking about. I mean the Nissan Leaf which is an all electric car hit 60 in 7 seconds flat. What next? Are you going to tell me that is fast as well?

No, but the JAG is a JAG, not a race-car. My father is a car-mechanic, so I know very well about a lot of engines.
7 sec. up to 60mph is slow, no way but thatΒ΄s not the issue of this car

Nice to read The hole car was never restored bevore, so thereΒ΄re some marks in the paint also in the interior..but the engine etc. runs very well. Anyway the rugged 4.0 Liters engine of this XJS is the best. In a lot of magazines you can read it also.

Normal wear and tear then? That's not to bad. For those minor scratches have you tried [link] ? BTW your car I6 or a slant 6 not a V6. They came either a AJ6 or a AJ16. May not want to tell people its a V6 or they may look at you strange.

Recognised this gorgeous car from the thumbnail. What a beauty^^ My folks have a white XJS with a V12 engine. She sure purrs, that's for sure haha
I have to say I've nver seen an XJS with a spoiler, rather interesting. Beautiful regardless
And definitely agree that jags, esp the XJS, are not drifting cars!

I never saw a XJS drifting and I think, that a XJS isnΒ΄t a cool Dirft-Car
