Fantastic work, I love the dead ash-colored background, and then the blazing reds and oranges from lava in the foreground acting as veins of life for the creature.
I also love how the aerial perspective creates a sweltering heat in the foreground, and then a sort of cool mist in the background (or a sort of choked-out blue sky fading away).

Very epic, only thing that stands out is his eye, its very white in comparison and sticks out, if you would darken it to match like the smoke / mist it would probably make it seem very sneaky.

i like how the eyes show its angerand how they contrast with the body, and the fog/dust/sad (XD) is put around its face so it exclaims it's roar.
