See, I love this. The glowing eyes totally make the picture, and I like how his suit is heavily shadowed, but you can still see the distinction between body parts and such. Great work, tobiee

Such is the texture that he looks like the night sky, filling up the clouds. Love the stylisation of the ears and those eyes are a wonderful combination of street-lamp and cat-eye. ^.^

See, now this is how Batman is meant to be...
I have always thought that the premise of Batman is far better than who he always becomes.
Batman was meant to instill fear in the hearts of criminals. Like an elusive predator. A monster that is no more than a mere rumor.
Yet in all interpretations of him, even the amazing Christopher Nolan/Christian Bale version...he's always the do-gooder who converses with the police, Commissioner Gordon gets to know his personality, etc.
I always thought that the Batman would be a more elusive, ninja-like version of the Punisher.
The difference being: People KNOW Frank Castle is the Punisher. No one knows Bruce Wayne is the Batman.
The criminals should be crapping their pants at the very mention of the term "The Batman" because they're MORTALLY frightened. Not because they're simply afraid of getting caught.
I'd love to see a Batman like this. A dark, shadowy, elusive being that comes and goes in a whisper. Who never speaks to anyone. Kicks ass and doesn't even take the names. He can still live by his rule of 'never kill'...
...but that doesn't mean he can't use psychological warfare and still beat baddies to a pulp.
I wanna see a DARK 'Dark Knight', and this image captures it perfectly.

Well said, Hobbit. I'm not much into comics, but I too would like to see that. The recent movies have been an improvement, especially with Heath's Joker, but the Batman could use a darker revamp as well.
