I always figured that Hiruma is the biggest reason that Eyesheild 21 was never broadcast in the U.S.A.
Although all the violence is very LooneyToon-esque
Since the show is set around highschools, a guntoting maniac running around the school would not be seen for it's comedic intent.
In Japan, this sort of this does not happen, but in America it is very real.
I read the comics, and would like to see the animated series, but I'm not willing to get bootlegs.
