Love the paintage. Nice skin. The violets and blues really do a lot for the shading and the hair. The unique color of the eyes really caught my attention, too. He looks distant.
What'd you use to do this? Something about this piece really hits home.

I add a favourite maybe 4 or 5 times a year, and it's generally to unknown artists.
But this is possibly my favourite piece of art ever. The colours, the thick brush strokes that stand out. It's 'messy' in a way, but has more character than anything precise.
