Description
I spent the bulk of the last two days focusing on the “business” side of trying to publish Inklings. Mostly researching print options and trying to sort out a PDF file size exporting issue (currently exporting at about 6 GB, which is not going to be uploadable anywhere). In the process, I realized I left a few things out in terms of finishing touches, including making some Inklings related shirt designs. So, I spent today working on those, then unwound a bit tonight working on this little rendering experiment/practice. I rushed this one a bit, I think. I need to use a different color for the light on his fur, I don’t like how orange it leans. I also didn’t do any pencil rendering/shading. I really enjoy pencil rendering, but I’m finding it challenging to incorporate it into this work flow at the moment. Perhaps if I expand to full body sketches and other object/environments I’ll open up more opportunities.
