Description
This is another villain I've created for my Storm Trooper comic series. This guy is like a cross between the Joker and Scarecrow.Alias: Harold Hitchcock
Occupation: Mad scientist, criminal mastermind, former pyschology proffesor, former phobia specialist, mental health patient, convicted felon, resident at the Galveston Home for the Criminally Insane.
Powers: No known powers; but do to his insanity he is crazy and unpredictable. Wild, crazy, whimsical, and deviously intellegent he is liable to do anything. He has little, if any, concern for others. He has extensive knowledge in chemistry, technical engineering, mechanics, robotics, genetic engineering, and psychology. He commits crimes armed with a chainsaw/gattling gun. One of his favorite tactics is to fire his weapon while swinging it from side to side wildly. And firing his weapon while spinnning around in circles spraying bullets everywhere; not caring who or what he hits. If he can't hit the enemy, he'll try to dismember them with the chainsaw blade. Perhaps the most dangerous weapon in his arsenal is a weaponized hallucinaginic gas That in high concentrations causes horrifying hallucinations of the victims worst fear, resulting in extreme panic. In low concentrations it causes its victim to go into uncontrolable fits of laughter for several minutes before paralyzing them with a ghastly, evil grin on their face. Prolonged exposure to the gas can cause either permanent insanity or life-long panic attacks. He himself is immune to this gas. All of this makes a deadly and extremely difficult opponent for even the Storm Trooper to take down.
Even before his criminal career, Dr. Harold Hitchcock was never right in the head. As a child he loved scaring people and things. As he grew older he became fascinated, not obsessed, with fears gripping power. He graduated from Houston University with Degrees in Chemistry, Biology, Genetics, Medical Science, Techical Science, Psychological Studies and Psychiatric Studies. He soon became a proffesor at the University specializing in fears and phobias. His obsession with fear led him to perform experiments in terror on his students and collegues. As if this wasn't bad enough, a new subject caught his interest: insanity. The university soon felt he'd gone too far. He was fired from the university and had his medical licenses suspended. He later suffered from a lab accident while stealing chemicals from the university. Conbined exposure to a strange red liquid and gas resulted in his transformation into the infamous Dr. Horror. The chemical left his skin a dead ash grey color, his eyes turned red, his facial muscle were paralyzed in the form of a horrifying grin, his hair turned ghostly white and his sanity seemed to disappear.
Weaknesses: His gas is only effective if it is inhaled. He is easily distracted by his crazed fits of laughter and his insanity can sometime impair his judgement. He has a tendency to waste his chainsaw/gattling guns ammunition during his fits of laughter.
Charges:
18 counts of assault with a deadly weapon
17 counts of criminal possession of a weapon
4 counts of armed robbery
8 counts of theft
12 counts of speeding to elude capture
7 counts of attempted murder
20 counts of criminal possession of controlled substances
8 counts of escaping prison
11 counts of assaulting police officers
6 counts of computer and network piracy
21 counts of kidnapping
30 counts of performing unethical and unlawful experiments
3 counts of animal cruelty
This adds up to a total of 165 offenses altogether.
The reason for his crimes is to make Houston the worlds biggest experiment in fear and insanity. While most criminals have logical motives for their crimes, many of Dr. Horror crazy make sense to him alone.
