I saw the Aquabats perform a free concert in Irvine, CA last week. It inspired me to try drawing one of them...The MC Bat Commander!

man, I haven't seen the Aquabats since 1999 (roughly) my uncle and I snuck into the (now defunct) Palookaville in Santa Cruz before they were set up and ran into the Commander. He was a great guy, even asked us to stay after security caught on.
