I recently went to the National Portfolio Day thing in St.Louis the other day, and what most of the reviewers said for me to do was to develop my characters more, one saying I should "stop drawing these weird blobs", others saying I should do other stuff and later come back to this. I did a compromise, and redesigned my character. The huge changes are the eyes, as you may see. The first five were without the face guidelines (you know, that t you draw on a face before drawing the face), in which they have actual eyes now, rather than thin lines. This helps show more emotion, and helps display where they are looking, and how they feel. Also the mouth has has some SLIGHT changes. I realized the mouth doesn't have to touch the nose always for these, and now a line connects the mouth to the nose if the mouth is slightly far away (in most cases). The eyebrows have been a thing for the past few months.

Personally, my favorite ones are the ones that are starred, but my absolute favorite is the one second to the last of the first row (the one with two stars).

I hope you like these changes, and I hope I can get used to them quickly.
