Nice! I have such a hard time choosing a favorite Swordmaster, though! Guy, Joshua, Zihark, Mia, Marisa, Fir... Aaagh! They're all so good! I always enjoyed Joshua's "I don't care" attitude, though.

Yeah, it's hard to choose. My other top favorites are definitely the dudes from 7, like Karel and Guy. Should probably say they're all top favorites but just for different reasons. xD;

Karel kinda scares me. I think I agree with you, though. Joshua's personality is awesome, but Guy has always been my best swordmaster, and the first, so there's that... Zihark is awesome, Mia is crazy, Marisa... Agh! All favorites, different reasons. You got it.

Joshua is LEGENDARY! Invariably one of my best units. Maxes speed and skill every time, and gets decent strength on top of that.

Hardly any enemies can land decent blows on him and he criticals like crazy.

Marisa is okay, but her strength is a bit low compared to Joshua's, and he's around for longer. I have never bothered making Joshua an Assassin - it defeats the point somewhat. Swordmaster all the way.

This looks great. The style and the movement looks soft, but yet, cool adn badass. 8)
I love how you draw his hair and coat moving - it looks so natural.
Also, excellent lighting! The coins also adds some "comic relief" to this. XD
Oh, and I don't see any problem with your anatomy!

in my opinion, Joshua's STR stat never gets high enough.... but I guess in that game, there aren't many other choices for swordmaster!!! (and swordmasters are necessary.)
