A part of me
I love my child, it's a part of me
bound by blood and genes, here forever.
It is a miracle to give life
a gift that makes me awestruck when I think about it.
His laughter brings joy to my heart
his tears tear me apart inside and make me hurt.
I can't fully understand his thoughts and feelings,
but I will always be there for him, and never let him down, that's my plan.
I will support him in all his dreams and goals,
no matter what he wants to achieve, I will always protect him.
I'll show him how to spread his wings and fly
because I know that he can achieve anything he sets his mind to with passion and drive.
I love my child because it is my flesh and blood
a part of me that will never let go of me.
I will always love him and give him the best
because I know he deserves it and he will always enrich and brighten my life.
