Description
This is the official cover art for book one of my PerryLlel web novel series, “The Dreammaker.” Book one coming soon to WattPad and DeviantArt.All my life, I’ve wanted to unlock the gateway to the multiverse. Now, I’ve finally finished the one device that will open this gate and allow me to travel across the multiverse, The Key. On my first trip with The Key, I found myself in a universe where everyone treated me like I had just stopped the apocalypse, found “The Most Mysterious Song on the Internet,” ended world hunger, or broke a man’s fall and survived. I don’t even have English class in this universe! But is it a perfect world for me, or is it something more sinister than I thought?
For the past six months, I have been working on a device made from used electronics at a thrift store called “The Key.” The Key is supposed to unlock the gateway to the multiverse and allow me to travel across it. Despite my dad telling me this would be impossible and all the “rizzing” and “Skibidis” from fellow student Billy Milonakis, I completed The Key. After sneaking out of the house and going for a test run on the school track, I opened the first portal to another world. At first, I thought The Key failed since I found myself on the same track, but after sneaking back home and waking up the next day, Dad gave me breakfast in bed with a can of Rockstar Focus!
Billy is also my best friend who shares the same interests as me and acknowledges that “rizz” and “gyatt” aren’t words. This was a dream I didn’t want to wake up from. At night, however, I had a strange dream in which I was being placed on a bed by some jester thing. At first, I brushed it off as a bad dream, but as the days passed, I began to tire of the same activities and wanted a change. Everyone started acting funny slowly, like I just created my own Bogdanov affair or started World War 3. Soon enough, the other Billy and I discover the dark truth about my “perfect” dream world. Now, we have to find a way to escape this universe and figure out how to get back to our own. If there’s one thing to remember when making a device that lets you travel the multiverse, always add an emergency escape button!
