As they stood in front of all the students Mora started to come to her senses. She really is inside Hogwarts. This is go ing to be her home for the next seven years. She got a bit lost in her thoughts until suddenly, a loud voice caught her attention. When I call your name, you will come forward, I shall place the sorting hat on your head, and you will be sorted into your houses — Professor McGonagall explained. All the children standing around her seemed ecstatic. However, Mora didn't at all feel happy or excited. She didn't want to be here. She was scared she felt alone and small compared to a castle's amount of children. She was already homesick five minutes after arrival.
Mora Rosewood — McGonagall called her name.
She slowly stepped forward and sat down on the stool placed in front of the small crowd of barely eleven-year-old children. As the sorting hat was placed on Mora's head her hands started to sweat and she felt as if a ball or something of similar shape was stuck in her throat. The hat spoke: Hmmm... very interesting... — it stated — You are a clever one for sure, and very hard working as well. Should I put you in Ravenclaw like your father? Or perhaps you would fancy another house... I see some fairly interesting qualities. How would you like Slytherin?
-I'm fine with either... — she responded with a rather shaky voice — ...but I think I'd prefer Slytherin. — she claimed now more calmly.
- Well then... SLYTHERIN IT IS!!!
The children wearing green ties started clapping fiercely. She quickly stood up and walked towards them to find a place to sit.

I guess I did a thing aaand I tried my best. That’s the best thing I can say about it🤷‍♀️. Also I don’t have any writing experience so 🤷‍♀️✨
