I love that I'm not really sure what to make of this; it's an enchanting enigma, and a perfect fusion of (I think) nature and technology. Very inspirational, and quite enjoyable to look at and puzzle out!

There is a Manga/Anime called "Bt`X" , in there, there is a evil robotic beeing which grows and grows from eating living things - it looks freaky the same ._. Except the part that remembers of a tree
You surely spend much much time on this one O o Great work

I was wondering if you could tell us more about this piece? What were your ideas/ inspirations for it?
To me, it looks like something out of a futurist story where an epic battle between man and machine is being waged. I wrote a little bit more about my impressions in my suggestion, by the way. Here's the whole thing:
What I find so striking about this piece is the masterful blending of the organic and the synthetic. It provokes a very uncanny feeling in me when I look at it. At first glance it appears so familiar, so natural, but upon a closer look it is revealed to be anything but. The way the tree splits in the center can be read as the gulf between these two opposites, or, perhaps it represents the fusion of them. Freud wrote the [uncanny] means to be both familiar and unfamiliar at the same time. Two seemingly unrelated components come together here in this piece to posit separation, and its opposite, fusion, simultaneously.

I have always been fascinated with trees. I love how individual and unique each tree is.. They each have their own personalities.. You have given this tree a really unique personality. I get an overall feeling of impending doom and loneliness when I view this work. Excellent job.
