I wouldn't call myself a Sonic fan boy, but I found myself in the mood for a Sonic game and I love making my own characters in games. Sonic Forces was on sale so I grabbed that, and made a character based on my dog Maisey. When I finished the game, I started a foam clay model of the character. This is the completed version next to the in-game model. I think It's come out looking a bit more classic Sonic than modern, but I'm still happy with it. every part of it is foam clay, except the feet. I took those from this nightmarish cartoon figure I got in a parts bundle, that I just can't describe. I used clay to turn them into the same sneakers I had equipped in the game. worked out pretty well, because the weighted feet help it stand up on it's own. Will have to remember this for future models.
