i heard,
that to test wether his students were in a true meditative state, the already 'enlightened' one would quietly,walk up behind them and hit them on the head with a stick. ha.
if you were concerned with the trivial matters of ur mind, u got smacked.hard
however if you had been succesful in becoming detached from the world, u could duck... and backflip up to a standing position grab his silly little stick and smack him...
