Selphie from Final Fantasy VIII , Rikku from Final Fantasy X-2, and Yuffie from Final Fantasy VII!...If all these girls were in one game, I think the world would explode... Right after you Playstation did. The hyper/bouncy/sugary factor's too much. I think every FF has one of these types. FFIX's own was Eiko to me, I didn't add her though 'cause she was a 'kid'. ^_____-
I admit they all probably annoyed me at one point in the game (curse you YUFFIE!), but they don't look too bad together!

I am dying to see the finished product of this piece. The lineart is already so clean and smooth that with your talents with CGing it'll be incredible. Plus, although it's obviously done in your style, you capture the look and the character of the girls so well. Not an easy task but you make it look effortless, great job!

I agree, there is a lot of type-casting stuff going on in Square games... always 3 girls who fit into 3 categories:
1) Sweet, pretty and innocent: Typically the heroes girlfriend, but not *all* the time. FFVI = Terra, FFVII = Aeris, FFVIII = Rinoa, FFIX = Garnet, FFX = Yuna
2) Super Sexy, Efficient Fighter/ Killer: Typically relying more on logic than feelings. FFVI = Celes, FFVII = Tifa, FFVIII = Quistis, FFIX = Freya, FFX = Lulu
3) Sporty, somewhat childish: Typically having very annoying moments that are meant to be cute. FFVI = Relm, FFVII = Yuffie, FFVIII = Selphie, FFIX = Eiko, FFX = Rikku
In FFX-2, Lulu was taken out as the sexy, cold, calculating and efficient killer... so they filled that void with Paine.
This lineart is AWESOME... I can't wait to see it colored! It's be cool if you did a set of FF girl pictures, grouping the girls from various FF games together! Kudos!
