i am really impressed by the effects but the story is just meh, ordinary.
Again, i am full of excitement when i decide to make this fanart.
I think me my self like some chaotic scene, such as fire, destroyed building. Its so easy for me to think destruction and chaos, but really hard for me to think something cute or just peaceful, (i will work on that) hahaha
In this fanart, i think people will react "why godzilla's fire beam is red?"
yeah, i made it red, i just like the fire beam red. so pleae accept it hahahha

The sad thing is that Patrick Tatopoulus designed Zilla to be its own thing, but still have the spirit of the old Godzilla. He didn't want to f*ck up a treasured icon.
Roland Emmerich was the one that refused the laser breath attack because it was "stupid". Fans complained enough that he let the explosive concussive blasts to be put in.

If Emmerich was so "smart" how does he explain a male iguana laying eggs with no mate, disappearing in New York, and a female paleontologist who thinks allosaurus is from the cretaceous period?...simple; Emmerich's the one who's stupid.

Did I say he was "smart?" NO. His attitude is in line with Uwe Boll (probably the shittiest of all shit directors).
They never confirmed nor denied Zilla was male. It's human nature to apply "He" to everything not a machine. Design wise, it was meant to harken a male esthetic with the inclusion of very obvious sexual organs, but still reference the old Godzilla in the debate whether or not G laid those eggs or not. (The "official" is that they where adopted hatchlings, but IDK with Toho.)
And the paleontologist wasn't "wrong". she said Theropoda Allosaurus. Meaning Allosaurid theropoda lineage, which includes dinosaurs like Giganotosaurus and Caracharadontosaurus.
Technically, she should have gone with Coelurosaurid, which includes the T-Rex and raptor family trees. Shockingly, Allosaurs lived in the Cretaceous. Allosaurus died in the Late Jurassic, but it had cloe relatives still kicking ass in Australia in the Antarctic regions.
It was poor wording, but she wasn't "wrong". She was wrong in assuming Zilla was a dino (which it makes sense since a great lizard you assume is a dino, not an iguana.)

I never assumed you thought that Emmerich was smart, I assumed HE thought that, and even if Zilla's female; that doesn't explain how it's able to lay eggs without a mate or why it keeps disappearing in New York. (I'm not trying to argue with you, I was just saying that Emmerich is stupid)

Emmerich saw the reviews for his movie and very few people liked it while most of them hated it; critics, g-fans and general public alike, I personally like Zilla better as his own monster, not as Godzilla.

Before he made that movie he atleast have seen some Godzilla movies in his life.. got some interests into Godzilla then maybe he would've gotten a better concept of his movie.
