Description
Spectacular thunderstorm at the peninsula of Parata (Corsica - France). Contrary to the appearances, this picture has been taken during the night. A strong lightning occured behind me and permitted to reveal this incredible cloud structure.06-23-2009

Orage spectaculaire au-dessus de la presqu'île de la Parata (Corse - France). Contrairement aux apparences, cette image a été prise en pleine nuit. Un puissant éclair s'est produit derrière moi et a permis de révéler cette incroyable structure nuageuse.

No, just a long time exposure. As said in the comment, the picture has been taken during the night. A strong lightning bolt behind me ligthed the scene.

What happens is, if you see a piece you think is worthy of a daily deviation that's relativly unknown, you can suggest it to a mod.

Cet orage était associé à une goutte froide présente sur le Nord de l'Italie. Une anomalie de tropopause est descendue du Nord, boostant la convection. Une convergence des vents était également présente. La ligne orageuse s'est formée à quelques dizaines de kilomètres au Nord de ma position.
