Description
Another character for my idea for a S.H.I.E.L.D space fleet ship's crew. This is Samora "Sam" Ondine, navigator and chief pilot for the Aries. She's Atlantean, and after the Badoon occupation of Earth, all of Earth's species had to work together more closely to repel the reptilian invaders. So, a united Earth has humans and Atlanteans (and new men, and red raven's people, etc) equals in the new world. In order to work more easily on the surface (and ultimately in space), the Atlanteans developed a more permanent genetic engineering of those Atlanteans that wished to join the fleet in space. This engineering based on Mutant Growth Hormone created from genetic samples of Namora (Namorita) and Namor himself has a side effect of little ankle wings. Unlike the Sub-Mariner, however, this doesn't grant flight in the subjects that grow them.
