You know, I don't think the whole 'trapped under a rock' thing was handled too well. Couldn't they draw a bigger, more convincing rock for AJ to trap her hoof under? We just saw her kick a giant boulder seconds before for Pete's sake!
Same as the episode where Rainbow Dash gets her wing trapped under a rock in the pets episode. That rock was much bigger, and more convincing, but still... why would Rainbow be worried about not being rescued by her friends? She should have been BURIED under the rockslide, and we should have seen her trapped in a small crevice between the rocks. THAT would have allowed the scene to play almost identically, but made her fear of not being found more believable.

clearly, you had never stuck a leg in a damn hole or in a rocky river...
believe me, ponies and persons had died due to smaller things like that... horses are in fact very prone to broke their legs and feet/hooves this way

Yeah, but this is cartoon physics we're talking about, with Rainbow Dash crashing into solid rock and breaking it with no injuries, and Rarity carrying a ginormous boulder around because she thinks it's a diamond.
