Description
Dander looks around the meadow, having just escaped from some helicopters he badly needed some rest. Some leaves would do nicely, though, typical Dander, he could not help but have fun in them.

After some tumbling he regains his posture and perks up at the loud thump sound next to him. He was afraid it might have been the nasty bay horse with a noticably white leg and his very yellow buckskin from yesterday. Those really kicked him down. Had it not been for his friends, the gray dappled mare Spot, and her annoying wild bay friend, Bee. As well as the capable help of his leader Brutus’ extended family, the brutally strict gray mare Mildred, and her dappled daughter with an attitude problem, Queen. He might not have made it out of that one. Especially considering he had gotten stuck in some barbed wire, when the fighting got lead too far astray.

He thought of the seal bay mare he was kind of scared of, Spitmouth. Who had also been stuck in some spiky vines earlier, having to be helped out by several other animals, like deer, raccoons… maybe even some cats and cows. He wouldn’t know though… he wasn’t there.

But what befell his eyes instead was Jude! His golden Champagne friend from another herd, who in passing mentioned something about having escaped a wildfire… but that wasn’t important. He has a new friend to introduce!

After having to slide down a muddy hill, they arrived. Thank goodness, it was such a humid day, he thought. Making the mud slide down way easier.

Opening his eyes he saw nothing but beauty. This has to be the most wonderful sight he’d seen since the following foals: Flintlock, Hoser, Midas and Boot came into his herd! Even TicTacToe who wasn’t originally born into it, came to his mind! But this was nothing like that!

The beauty, the glistening skin, the well cut mane on this horse. This must be a Tom. He’d only heard of those in fables, often told to him by crazier mares like Foxard the orange ish mare and Dolly who was more feisty, but told the stories well anyways.

Where was he? Oh yeah, Tom was beautiful, and down for a bit of walking around the fields.

“Hey guys!” Tom said. “long time no see! Jude have you been doing something about those helicopters, often seen flown by humans and the two bachelors one with a pink nose and a stripe, and one with mostly white reddish markings plaguing your herd?”

Jude blushed. “Uhm. Let’s just have fun for now, Tom”

Tom nodded sympathetically “You know what, Jude? You’re right. What kind of ice breaking is that.” He chuckles, his face lit up by the sun rays. “Let’s just have fun for today.”
