This... took longer than I expected it to, even with procrastinating. Oh well. It's done now~

Anyways, this piece is fanart of the five Sega Sonic characters I currently play in a Sega Sonic the Hedgehog roleplay. Tails, Wave, Storm, Tails Doll, and Amy are all characters I love about the Sonic franchise, and it's awesome being able to roleplay as my favorite characters.

The gradients do in fact have a pattern to them, as the bottom color represents their ability, while the top color is their alignment. I'm still unsure whether I should have just kept Tails' gradient through the whole picture, since it's really pretty... almost like a sunset. I WAS gonna put in full backgrounds for these guys, but it's been taking too long already.

I think I did a decent job. It's clear that my style is getting better, and I've been dabbling in the more cel-shaded types of shading rather than realistic.

Edit: Thanks to inspiration from [link] I managed to fix Tails' one hand. It looks SO much better now. I love it! But, I still HATE HANDS. HANDS SUCK. I had gone over it about a dozen times already, but at least I finally got it. Plus, Tails' cavity-inducing adorableness makes up for all the foam-inducing trial and error.

... Speaking of which, if you notice, I FINALLY. CONQUERED. SEGA-STYLE PUPILS. Now they look lively, cute, and don't look like zombies anymore. Yay~

Edit 2: I realised for a while now that I neglected to give the girls here some eyelashes. While they looked good without them, I decided to give them some anyway.
