Description
The Encyclopedia of Magical Creatures describes ababil as giant boulder-slinging birds, but the actual story from the q'ran describes a flock of swallows or martens swooping upon an army with pebbles, which rained down and massacred every soldier. They're said to have had the names of the soldiers written on them, though that may be just a metaphor that they were fated to be struck down by that exact rock. Anyway I did a bunch of Eurasian martens, shrank them way down and multiplied them into a gigantic flock.
