PIRATES!!!
Am seriously loving the composition, and how the eye is immediately drawn upwards to the face of the one on top. He looks veryyyy haughty and smug! The detail on his face and the way the picture becomes more painterly around the edges is reminiscent of Baroque paintings.

This is really nicely done. You did an amazing job of bringing the eye into that central figure through contrast and composition, using the diagonals of the rigging and the isolation of the more complicated face/head against the simple shades of the sails to highlight it.
