The concept I have in mind is him trying to use those after his life to get ahead in any strategic situations like fighting the lotus or battle situations like getting surrounded by grineers.

story quest:
As a tenno he was a very disturbed kid due to his background of having a single thing he considered abusive from his father who changed to a better person in response to his childish demands but even so his father found him unable to forgive him. The tenno kid change his own self he turned evil to seek comfort only to find real abuse which still didn't make him falter with his bad conviction. After years passed, having committed several murders without suffering from consequences he successfully hid his crimes. Some time passed got turned to a Warframe yet his primal urges remained the same, he was still the same dark minded person yet stronger. Escaped the orokin with a tenno girl who is his exact opposite in everything. Both of them tried to live in a distant planet with other humans in it but also powerful beasts worshipped as gods who he befriended only for the girl to die for the human's biased, unreasonable, irrational fear. Purged their civilization and having lost anything he has left is on the quest to filter out the galaxy's lives to commit galactical genocide. The lotus took notice of him.

The leather "sleeves" dyed red is the girl's gift for him.
