His name is unknown and not even he remembers his name. Only knows his age and place of origin, but he doesn't remember anything of his past life, a life that has left a deep mark on his face: Altaspina, in fact, brings on his face a mask that draws a Venice Carnival mask to hide the horrible scars that he has on the eyes and around his mouth.
Because of his appearance he took some time before leaving his shy and solitary nature and feel at ease, thanks to the estimation of the Pope and his companions and friendship, particularly from Milena, Savannah and Lancelot, and he is finally able to face his fears and to feel as if he's a family member.

For the scars on Altaspina's face I used the horrible mouth scars of the Japanese urban legend Kuchisake Onna and the vertical eye lines of the make-up of the famous James O'Barr comic book character THE CROW.
