There's a reason I'm a semi-Gin fangirl, for both the semi ness and the existance at all.

The seminess:
1) I like Sassy-chan, and so I feel uncomfortable liking another, even if they're from a different anime. Yes, you may laugh your ass off now.
2) I like Matsumoto and Ichimaru together because so far, Matsy-chan is the only one who has shown herself willing to heal him.

But of course, Gin-san being stubborn like so many of his kind in so many sources, he doesn't want to risk opening up and hurting someone or losing someone who he has on any level...

Yeah..that's a VERY disarming sad smile. If you actually really look closely at Gin throughout the series and manga he doesn't seem evil, honest even. Nice choice of words.
