Description
SNS Stringer, apart of the Stalker class of Submarines. During the re-building of the navy after the second world war, the Sarsmine(I.S.N) sought to extend its Submarine arm. The Stalker class was born out of this need, and such it was designated a role as a large fleet submarine. The Submarine class was equipped with seven torpedo hatches, with six mounted at the bow and one aft. It had the capability to launch the then designed acoustic homing S6-B torpedo. After some consideration, the submarine design was greenlighted, and ordered into production. A hundred were ordered so as to strengthen the Sarsmine's (Alternatively I.S.N.) submarine force, however at the outbreak of the third world war it was scaled back to forty, before once more being reduced to fifteen. The orders were completed three years into the war, however only 13 saw service. The other two submarines, S-014 and S-015 suffered fatal hits from Reverian bombers while they were nearing the end of their sea trials on that day. about half of the remaining ships were either destroyed by enemy ships or scuttled by the end of the war.SNS Stringer, was famously known for being apart of the famous Stalker-Class (Though the official name of the class in documents was 'Project-0566'). The Stringer had finished construction as 'S-001 and was the first ship of the class to be commissioned. It joined the ranks of the Sarsmine's sub corps, before regularly sortieing to the Bolkoth strait, before making a short pass through the Scouric sea and then beginning its re-supplying at a naval base in Cal Camese. It held this routine until the Battle of the Bolkoth Strait, where it was deployed with the other ships into the strait to face a Reverian and Elvish sea fleet. Stringer did not score any ships in the battle, (Though it did accidentally ram a Reverian lifeboat, killing twelve sailors instantly). After the battle, it was then re-located down to Solkis, where it would operate from a naval base. Along with S-011, the Cruiser Ciskall and the pre-war Battlecruiser Siuth, it formed the Solkis Sea Fleet. After the end of the war, the submarine would be pulled from Solkis, where it would then for much of its remaining service serve in the Reserve fleet in Korono. Five years later, it was struck from the Sarsmine's naval registry, and was lucky enough to be preserved, along with S-009. The rest of the ships other than the two, were either destroyed or scrapped by the end of the war. The submarines are maintained and preserved in the Imperial Scouric War museum located in Western Korono.
The Stringer had amassed by the end of the war some fifteen sunk merchant ships in the Elvish sea, along with two Elvish escorts. However these were the only things it had accomplished, since for much of the war it had been un-lucky in seizing the chance to sink ships. The ship was the longest and biggest submarine fielded by the Sarsmine, before the introduction of large nuclear-powered ballistic missile submarines.

[A/N] I thought I'd revisit Submarines, and add a new Sub type. Its pretty large, very large, so I'll probably make a smaller one sometime soon. Until then, I'll post the four other ships designs I've been working on next week.
