Halux absorbs energy via his gloves, he can acquire it by placing his palms on the power source.

Universal language:
Halux knows the universal common tongue: English, making his entry to Earth a bit easier..
Other that this, he knows just a handful of strange languages, all of which won't be that helpful.

Battery pack:
Halux carries an extra supply of energy on his back, these are backup reserves.
He can remove it at will to recharge it once he finds a new outlet. On his own, Halux can have about a week worth of energy.
The battery pack allows him to last much longer, if energy was ever scarce, Halux can enter a slumber in a "power saving mode" until more energy can be found.

Halux is extremely knowledgeable in mechanics, engineering and physics, he continually shows high levels of mastery over these topics as if it was common knowledge. In fact, rivaling some human astrophysicists.

A very odd mechanical being, who has somewhat of a limited range of empathy and reactions, his emotions are unpredictable and has been observed to have inconsistencies in conversations.

He usually always defaults to humor, trying to break tension with witty comments or jokes, even forced sometimes. This has led him to annoy many acquaintances, whether he meant to do so or not.
