Made this a couple of years ago, in 2019. It was the first time I decided to start with a black canvas and work with a white brush. I never had any grand plan for this, so it was made more as just a doodle or sketch, and I never finished this entirely, but I learned a hell of a lot about using light and dark while doing this. I suppose it was a bit of a milestone for me in a way. Opened my eyes to a lot of techniques.

The piece is loosely based on the PC game "RUNE" from 2000 by Human Head Studios, depicting the hero, Ragnar, in battle against a giant crab deep under the earth.
