Description
Grass Type - This was a very easy one. Sceptile was my favorite for a copious amount of years, then Dewgong took over for about one year, then Sceptile took back over. I really love Sceptile, it's such an icon of my childhood and a blast to use.

Fire Type - Another easy one. Ever since I was a kid, Arcanine was always one of my favorites. I don't know how anyone could dislike Arcanine, it's such a perfect emblem of a Pokemon, and it's a big dog, that you can ride like a horse, that breathes fire. This, should be enough said.

Water Type - This was the first change. Originally it was Lapras in this spot, but Lapras and Dewgong share the same typings, and I love Dewgong more then Lapras, but they are interchangable. Lapras is so well designed and so fun to use, I smoked someone with Lapras on Showdown and I've always loved Lapras since the anime.

Normal Type - Like Arcanine and Lapras, there's a perfect emblem of the Normal typing and of a Pokemon here. Snorlax is what a Pokemon really should be, simplistic yet fun. It's plain, fun. And also pretty fucking cute.

Electric Type - Yeah, Ampharos is fucking great and one of my favorites of all time. I remember being a youngin' and owning Heartgold, and my brother nicked my Totodile. So I used an Ampharos and I ended up bossing through the game. I love the crap out of Ampharos.

Psychic Type - Victini is a medallion of my childhood, and while I still really love Galarian Slowbro, I just love Victini, and our Poison vet, a little bit more. Victini is adorable, and the fact that it seeks weak Pokemon, and gives them boosts of energy for victory, is fucking adorable.

Fighting Type - Well this is gonna be a .... hot ... take huh? This one has a story. When I was little, I was too young to own a Ds and game, this was when Black and White came out. I remember sitting in the car. My brother asked which starter he should choose. My sister wanted Snivy, I wanted Oshawott, but he chose Tepig. I borrowed the game from time to time, and holy shit I love Emboar because of this. It's so fun to use, and very easy to learn.

Rock Type - I don't adore any Rock types. Rock is probably in the bottom range of the types for me, definitely bottom two, but after using Drednaw in my Galar-Shield play-through, I can tell you Drednaw is definitely a great Pokemon, both design wise and gameplay wise.

Ground Type - Seismitoad has a pretty similar story to Emboar. My brother caught me a Tympole has my Pokemon for his game since I borrowed the game from time to time. I leveled up Seismitoad, to level 100. That's a big deal in Pokemon.

Flying Type - IT'S A FUCKING TOUCAN. Toucan are probably some of my favorite animals, maybe barring the octopus. Sure, it's design is a little lame, but that doesn't shove my love for Toucannon. It's a blast to use, AND IT'S BEAK IS A CANON.

Bug Type - I'ma tell you right now, this things design is badass, its typing is badass, its existence, is badass. It set a path for all bug types, and there hasn't been a meek bug type yet ... well, fully evolved Bug type not -- you get what I mean.

Poison Type - Toxtricity, the Pokemon that BARELY just beat Galarian Slowbro. I hate, that I underestimated Toxtricity. When I look at it ... holy shit, it's basically a perfect Pokemon. Its types are brilliantly combined, in both design and concept, and it just seems like the perfect Pokemon.

Dark Type - Incineroar, is a badass. It's kinda in the same vein has Toxtricity if I'm being real. Incineroar used to be one of my least favorites, due to me not liking its design. Litten is fucking adorable, and I hate that I underestimated Incineroar. Not only is it an absolute blast to use with the elemental punches, but it handles the Alola-Games very very very well, having a move for basically everything.

Ghost Type - Runerigus is just a jumble of fun. I used it in my Galar playthrough, and with Centiskorch it was an mvp. Not to mention, I just love its design. It's a jigsaw puzzle, however it's a Ghost like, artifact?

Ice Type - Has explained with the Water entry, Lapras could be placed anywhere. Lapras is such a perfect Pokemon. I wholeheartedly believe, it's impossible to dislike Lapras. It has appeal to people who like cute Pokemon, and to people who like cool pokemon.

Steel Type - Uhm to be honest, it's in the same boat has Rock. I don't care for a lot of Steel types, I would be totally ok if they took Steel out of the franchise and replaced it with like, Light type or Sound type. However Skarmory is simply amazing, I always liked it, and I love how it's just a well designed bird that can definitely be a menace.

Dragon Type - Weirdly enough, Dragon's also kinda in the same boat has Steel and Rock. I like Dragon types however, I just like them all, about evenly. Noivern however, is different. Noivern somehow combines a wyvern, and a speaker, and does it so perfectly. Honestly, the perfect Pokemon.

Fairy Type - It's a fan favorite that I can see. I have used this thing in about every ORAS playthrough. Hoenn is my favorite region, and Gardevoir is an icon from that region, of course I'm gonna love it. And no, I'm a good boy, so Gardevoir isn't in my search history.
