oh I know! And I hated how it looked like Rose was doing everything and the Doctor was just kind of standing there; like when they kissed back in New Earth? Like maybe he didn't really want it. But in the whole cut of the kiss, he was getting so into it! I think they really should've shown that; so many people are still in denial over him loving her.

I know! I hate that people are so anti-clone. I love both the Doctor and Rose and the clone and Rose. I know it's not the Doctor but it's a Doctor that'll be there for Rose and give her love. Why are they blaming him for what the Doctor did. The Doctor had his chance to be with her and he didn't take it. It's not the clone's fault. If he has the Doctor's thoughts and memories of course he's gonna love Rose. I agree about the kiss, the kiss with Reinette had more passion than the one they showed. If you're gonna show Rose accepting the clone Doctor why would you make it look like he's a statue while she's snogging him. It doesn't make sense. I actually write DW fanfiction and I have a story called Something Old and New where it's her and the clone and I've given them a life together and at the point I'm at in the story they're happily married and it's actually been very well recieved which makes me happy. I've even had a couple of people tell me they didn't like the clone until they read my story and my characterization of him which thrills me even more.
I hope they do bring him back. I mean David has a permanent place on the show with him and since he ages normally David could come back in ten years and they wouldn't have to explain why he looks older. It just would be a waste not to explore their relationship more in the future. But I have a feeling they will because otherwise why would they leave the clone alive and not kill him off? They could have had him die but they didn't which makes me think he's another plot twist like the hand and we'll see him in the future.
