I usually don't do things I'm not at least a little good at. But so ofcourse I don't learn anything and I was just so upset today with that, that I forced myself to just do something I want to learn, eventhough it would turn out crappy.

So I decided to do my very first try of digital painting. It should become such a rough speedpainting style. For a reference I decided to take a random picture from my beloved book "Krieger Kämpfer und Soldaten" [link] [Warriors, Fighters and Soldiers] "from the antiquity to now" and the pages got stopped at the modern US-Infantry article. - Sometimes things seem really to hunt me oO

Took me about 2 hours and even though I messed up a lot of things (especially the M16 xD) it tournd out even better than I thought and I really finished it. Can't believe it O.O *usually always gives up* Perhaps it's the picture's / book's topic that always encourages me not to be that weak xD

If you're interested in the book, as far as I know this is the original english version. [link] For everyone who's interested in warrior's tactics and equipment from early history up to now all around the world this is really a treasure with many detailed pictures. I just love it ^^
